QB School: QB’s will have the unique opportunity to learn the position under UMass Head Coach and QB guru Mark Whipple. In Coach Whipple’s first season back at UMass in 2014, the Minutemen were among the top 10 in the country in passing yards per game. In his two stints at UMass, his offenses have set over 40 school records. Whipple was the QB coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers during Ben Roethlisberger’s first three years in the NFL, winning a Super Bowl during that run. UMass’ QB Coach Scott Woodward will also be coaching in the QB School.

At this School, QB’s will get to watch tape with Coach Whipple, take the field to test their skills against the top QB’s in the Northeast, and gain instruction from some of the best in the business.

Visiting Coaches from other programs in the Northeast will also be in attendance.

Big Man School: Offensive and Defensive Linemen are invited to our Big Man School, where you will gain experience in both the classroom and on the field from the UMass staff. OL Coach Mike Foley is in his first season with UMass, after serving as UConn's OL Coach for 9 years. Defensive Line Coach Matt Dawson is also in his first year at UMass after defensive coordinator jobs with Fordham, Virginia State, and Monroe College. Dawson played Linebacker for Coach Whipple from 1996-1999 at UMass, and was a team captain.

We will run two practices, have classroom time, and provide lunch. Linemen will get the unique opportunity to learn under experienced, top-level college coaches, compete against some of the best High School athletes in the area, and gain exposure to an FBS program.

Please Note: All attendees MUST turn in a physical from within the 24 months prior to the clinic date. This can be turned in the day-of with a hard copy, or emailed to UMass Football Staff Here prior to the clinic. Insurance Card information listed on the registration sheet must also be filled out. If you do not have these two items, you may not participate.

Walk-up registration will be available and will require credit card or cash payment. We will not accept checks. It will also incur a $10 extra fee per attendee.
